Very nice Humberto! Love the pose, and Ivan took it to a new level with the colors. Love the line less look on this piece.

Interesante este nuevo boceto solo noto que el color da al scketch un toque sombrio, esperemos mas adelante nos comentes el proyecto final.

Hey dude, she looks great.. the linework is awesome as ever.
I have to say though, that a little bit of the pretty detail gets lost in the colors.
Still, it looks great.
Oh, and I wanted to touch base about your sketchbooks. the new one and the old one “passport to art” you were gunna save me? I want to buy those together so I was wondering if I should just pay you double for the new one online and
you could send them both along or what?
Just let me know when you get the chance. but I’ll be able to pay for those
this weekend hopefully and I wanted to know how to go about it. thanks

I love the line work on the figure and the coloring of the upper body if very nice. As for the lower body, it could be my monitor, but it’s so dark that the details of the line work get lost.

they both look great, but the colour one does lose some of its humberto-ness when the lines go, I’d love to see some of work your work done like this (covers would be good) but not all of it.

Actually Francisco Herrera show some art colored by same colorist recently so it’s not a big deal to figure outwho is this “secret” guys you’re workin for

I dig the art (as always, i LOVE your work!!!)… but i really dig your line work more than anything, and I think the color really distracts from that beauty that attracts me to your work. I’m all for trying new things, and while this is similar to your work on Revelations, this particular example i really feel takes away from the linework i love so much. But that’s my two cents.

Hi, I am French ( but I live in Hong Kong ), so no, my family name is not Crisse! I love your work. I am trying to have through some friends in France your 2 books on K with Crisse ( second one in stores in a couple of days , right ? ). Hopefully, I will succeed. Continue the good work, I am looking forward to see your new project. Is it going to be for Soleil as well ? I used to work for them 12 years ago as letterer…

Meanwhile, Depp’s Mad Hatter is so dull and phoned-in that one can barely call it acting (Unless putting on too much blush and a stupid wig counts.), Mia Wasikowska’s Alice is so wooden that I kept expecting the Cheshire Cat to use her left arm as a tree branch, and while Helena Bonham Carter’s Red Queen is mildly amusing, the odd chuckle here and there isn’t enough to save this exercise in fantasy sleepwalking.
