Desde Paris!!!
HOLA GENTE!!!
De nuevo el trabajo me come y apenas tengo tiempo de hacer otras cosas (como hacer este blog), pero en fin, aca les posteo lo que en este momento hago. Como pueden ver me la estoy pasando “re mal” en Paris, donde vivo.
JJJAAAAJA, que tal sono eso? bien no? la verdad es que si lo es, y tambien es cierto que Francisco Herrera y yo estamos trabajando muy fuerte en un proyecto muy importante para una productora de aca, desgraciandamente lo unico que les puedo compartir es que se trata de una pelicula, nada mas, lo siento.
Por otro lado, en nuestra estancia aca , hemos recibido la visita de algunos de nuestros amigos muy queridos, en este caso a Edgar Delgado, el muy famoso monarca del STUDIO F, ha sido increible tenerlo por aca y emocionarnos con el mientras va descubriendo las estampas espectaculares de esta hermosa ciudad (esta es su primera visita a PARIS). Aqui por ejemplo, no pierda usted de vista el ojo vidrioso a punto de dejar rodar la lagrima en su primer encuentro con la MONALISA.
Para finalizar, les dejo otras imagenes de los runaways extraidas de mi moleskine (de nuevo, bocetos) de eso les platico que estoy a la mitad del numero 2, y me siento increible dibujandolo, asi que cuando salga a la venta (agosto) dennos una oportunidad y comprenlo.

Hello people!!!
Again, the work is eating my whole time and I barely have time to do more stuff (like writing this blog), anyway, this is an update of what am doing so far. As you can see I am “so having a bad time” here in Paris, where I actually live.
How did that sound, cool isn’t it? haha. Well, actually, is really cool indeed, also is true to tell you that both Francisco herrera and myself, we are working really hard in this TOP SECRET important project for a French movie production company, unfortunately I can’t reveal what the movie is all about, actually I’m saying to much by saying it is a movie, sorry.
Talking about something else, in our stay here in Paris, we got visitors from home, as you see in this pic, one of them was Edgar Delgado, leader of the Studio F, it has been great to have him hanging around with us here, is awesome to see him getting amazed by the wonders this city reveals at every corner (this is his first visit to Paris). here for example, his about to let a tear drop at his first encounter ever with the enigmatic Monalisa.
To finish this post, i leave you with some more of the runaways sketches, all out from my moleskine, so far I am half way through issue 2, and it feels great to draw this book, so please give us a chance and buy it in August, OK?

Gracias por los scans de la moleskine, no hay cosa que más me inspire a dibujar que ver los bocetos de otros artistas.

Con respecto a los bocetos, es buenisimo ver donde se origina lo que despues vemos publicado.

Vaya….!!!! No tenéis pinta de pasarlo mal !!!! Ja jajajaa… Quizás sí un poco de frío, no???? Oye, geniales los bocetos de Runaways…. Por mucho que dibuje… siempre me viene lo mismo cuando descubro dibujos nuevos tuyos… “Joder… como molan, me encataría dibujar como él!!!” Estos últimos me encantan, los encuentro muy en la línea de “Out There”, por cierto… la libreta de sketches, una moleskine de storyboards, verdad??? con la fundita de color rosa… Ja jaja… yo también la tengo…. lo que me lleva a pensar… en que… tus bocetos son pequeñitos ¿no? Has usado un portaminas para estos? Un 0.7?

Parece que has echo caso a la gente del foro y has echo cambios en los personajes de Runaways, eso está bien; no solo porque nos gustan más así sino porque tienes en consideracción lo que dice la gente en tu blog, que al fin de todo somos los que hacen que te llegue el cheque a casa todos los meses
Bueno, espero que te lo pases bien en París y que se te hagan apacibles los días allí. La verdad es que me das envidia París…. arfff debe de ser hemosísima, eso o que el cine es buen método para atraer turistas. Yo iba a ir en la excursión de graduación del colegio hace un par de años pero a la gente le parecía caro, psssss… solo mantubimos la idea dos en el curso.
Y yo me pregunto, ¿Y a ti que te importará esto a ti? xDDD
Bueno pues un saludo, y por cierto, ya me estoy poniendo al día con Runaways (en la edición española, claro).

I’m a big fan (wow, very interesting!) of your work since Crimson (back in the good old college days!!).

ey que bueno te estan quedando los bocetos de los runaways, me gusta nico como se ve, he posteado el link a estos bocetos en el board que modero de los runaways que te comente antes. Solo espero que no maten a nungun de los chicos durante secret invasion jajajaja, Me encanta la idea que Molly cambie de sombreros tematicos todo el tiempo! ojala sea algo que pase seguido en el comic.

Mr. Ramos, esto está de la ostia. Cuéntame sin duda entre los que compraremos religiosamente tu Runaways. Y ganitas tengo de ver eso de la película (ver algo en animación con tu estilo sería orgásmico).

Me gustan mas estos bocetos de Runaways, le vas cogiendo el estilo, se ve q vas mas comodo con ellos! Tengo ganas de ver lo que andan haciendo para la peli francesa, a ver si pronto les dejan mostrar algo!

A mi me parece que el dibujo tiene que ser o japones o americano y no esas mezclas raras que se sacan algunos de la manga. A mi parecer este “amerimanga” no va nada con el estilo de la serie. Moli tiene mas ojos que cabeza…
