Hey guys!

I don´t usually do this but this time I’m posting photos. I believe most of you just want to see what I’ve been up to with the work, but this also has to do with the work, you might seen these pics some other place already. but this is my bunch of them.

OK, Hero initiative is a raise funding organization, created by the comic book people to help other comic book people, that’s the way to go!! Well, every year at SDCC time they put together a softball game to raise money to help elder comic book creators, I’ve be honored to be invited to this game: THE MARVEL BLACK KNIGHTS vs THE DC ORANGE HEROES hahaha, and play to win the STAN LEE cup, is like heaven for all of us comic book geeks, imaging you are playing in the sand lot side by side with Joe Quesada, Jim Lee, Peter David, Bill Tucci, John Romita Jr, Paul Jenkins, Dan Didio; Axel Alonso, etc.

Just for the record, MARVEL kick DC´s ass for a second time in a row, those guys are nothing against the mighty HOUSE OF THE IDEAS, the funny thing is that Paul Jenkins (Wales) and me (Mexico) were name the MVPs of the game (most valuable players) we both are hardcore soccer fans and players (not that we are not aware of the softball craft) but is a fun fact.

Bottom line, we did this for lending a hand to those who make this industry what it is today, and second, to show you guys the real picture, MARVEL and DC are ferocious adversaries in the comic book stores shelves, we both want to make the bests books for you, but in the day by day life, we are good friends, really great friends, so thanks Marvel and DC for making me the luckiest comic book geek ever !!

I’ve been working in developing a creator own based on fairy tales characters, because of that i think I’ve been more aware of that world, the fantasy world actually.

This piece in particular i did it for my good friend Ann, who manages a comic book store in Belgium, an awesome one indeed. So this is how i want to take you guys with me into the fairy tales world, more coming, keep tune!!!

I am currently working a project with some cool french guys (can’t tell you, sorry) and in a way to see how we fit together, Ivan did the colors on this Alice in wonderland sketch, what you think?
