Guys I’m so excited about this, I just received permission to release this image from the actual production work for THE PRODIGIES, the movie where Francisco Herrera and me worked last year .
This is how the movie will look, the line art was deliver from your friendly neighbor Humberto Ramos, and the final art is by the INCREDIBLE ARTIST , Antoine Poulain.
the director is Antoine Charreyron, remember this name.

Quick post to let you guys know what I’m doing these days, this is the cover for issue 25. I’m half way through it, this will be my last issue in the Avengers the initiative, I loved doing it, Chris Cage rocks!

As I am currently working in the AVENGERS THE INITIATIVE book (right now I’m drawing the last page of issue 23), people is always asking me about what I’m going to do after that (my run in the book ends with issue 25). Let me tell you my next project will have nothing to do with MARVEL mainstream, all the contrary, let’s say I’m taking a sabbatical and again shoulder by shoulder with Paul Jenkins I will draw this book we called FAIRYQUEST, that will take me the rest of the year to produce it and it’ll be publish by SOLEIL ( and hopefully by MARVEL too), at the same time I will finally wrap up the third volume of K (those who follow BD know what I’m talking about).
This is a book Paul and I created many years ago, and we can’t wait to see this project been finally published, if you have seen my latest SKTECHBOOK you got a glimpse of what the story is going to be about, for those who didn’t got the book (same on you!!) I can only tell you is a story about love and sacrifice, dressed with tons of action and adventure.
So this is it, the countdown to FQ starts here, hopelly you might have it in your hands by the end of the year.
Santo de mi devocion, was a great success, so many artists, so much inspiration, great show.

Este es el ejercicio que estamos haciendo los comiqueros mexicanos, si ese del que ya les platiqué. Bueno hasta hoy se lleva esto , recién terminamos la primera ronda de tiras y recomienza el ciclo, de nuevo con el Bachan, la historia se ha ido complicando y cambiando súbitamente de género, pero bueno pos a ver que sale no?
To the english readers of this humble blog. Some weeks ago, a bunch of mexican comicbook creators and me, decided to start this exercise where one creator starts a story with no plot or idea where the story should be going forward, then after creating a strip, he passes it to the next creator who will to the same, some kind of exercise the guys from ROUND ROBIN do, and yes we took the idea from them, not because wher are trying to copy it, but because we think is soooo cool. I just hope we can do it as well as they do.
Well this is the story so far, sorry again but is just in spanish, but we are trying to translate it, and believe me we will, ASAP.

Last summer in the SD Comicon, Paul Jenkins released a upcoming project of us FCS (Fantasy Crime Squad), soon to be in pre-production, this is a story we’ve been working on for a couple years already. This is an image that wasn’t shown in that press conference, a lot of images did but not this one, today I want to share it with you, I hope you like it.

Hey guys, I was running through my files and I found this, I wanted to share it with you. This is a piece I did to my french publisher Soleil, about one of their creations,LANFEUST.
They at Soleil love the idea of Star Wars, so I did this piece to homage Mr. Drew Struzan, amazing illustrator.

Here is a variant cover i did to a book called Abiding perdition, were we have red hot ridding hood. Colors by the PHOTOSHOP WIZARD (hahaha) Edgar Delgado.
I post it because i don´t know if any of you guys saw the book, by the way this book was nicely pencilled by Pedro Delgado, who´s currently working in something called ULTRADUCK check on that sometime in 2007.
